seniors either at one of the Center’s facilities or as part of an in-home
orientation

before, during, and after a hurricane event

Distributes shelf-stable meals for seniors through our
meal sites and home-delivered meals program prior to hurricanes

Offers the Volen Transportation fleet for evacuation of seniors prior to a hurricane

Works with local and county officials to ensure that
seniors have food, other staples, and services after hurricanes that hit
Southern Palm Beach County

Provides referrals for post-hurricane services such as
home repair
Seniors and caregivers are urged to educate themselves
about hurricane preparation and other emergencies that might arise and to take
steps to protect property and themselves during such emergencies.
