The Volen Center employs more than 80 full time and part time staff in
positions that range for program directors to drivers to certified nurse
assistants to clerical support team members. The Center offers an excellent

Driver
Full time -
Candidate must possess a valid Florida Commercial Driver's license with
"P" (passenger) endorsement and a
"safe" driving record. References and experience with
transporting passengers in past job are needed. Must pass a post-offer DOT physical and drug
screening. Comply with a biennial DOT employment physical, random drug
screening and alcohol testing. Must also have good listening skills and be able to handle
elderly passengers in a positive, courteous and respectfully firm
manner. Must be able to lift, bend, pull and push, because of
wheelchairs and groceries. Being flexible and having the ability to work
as a team member are critical to this position.
