The
stresses of managing a loved one’s life, keeping track of medical
treatments, medications, preparing food and making
decisions about when and where care needs to be given – caregiving
has a significant impact. No matter how much
support a caregiver receives, it never seems to be enough.
The Volen Center and
its staff believe that it is critical that every caregiver knows
what his or her rights are as a caregiver and has the emotional and
practical support that he or she needs not only to be a good
caregiver, but also to have a life outside of the caregiving role.
