For the Active Senior – The Life Enrichment Program

For those Boomers and Seniors who want to maintain their active lifestyle while having fun, making new friends and learning and trying new things, the Life Enrichment program is for you!

• Offered at Volen’s Boca Raton facility

• For adults 50 and older

• Computer classes

• Singles group

• Reasonably priced outings and trips

• Special events and parties

• Bridge, poker, Mah-jong and other card games, including instruction

• Weekly bingo

• Musical entertainment and concerts

• Educational classes including topics such as self-enrichment, current events, defensive driving, arts and crafts, and many other subjects

• Free scheduled health screenings and blood pressure checks

• Exercise programs ranging from chair exercises to tai-chi and yoga

• Volunteer opportunities

• Participation in intergenerational programming

• Crafting in the Center’s Gift Shop

• And a wide variety of other activities

Center Membership

Every adult 50 years old and older is welcome to participate in Center activities – to enroll in classes, use the facilities, and access every other service offered by the The Volen Center. But, becoming a member has its benefits:

• Bimonthly newsletters

• Course offerings by mail

• Bimonthly calendar of events by mail

• Special rates for adult education courses

• Reduced admission at selected special events

• Participation in member only events

• The right to participate in the Volen Center annual meeting

Annual Membership is only $40 for an individual and $70 for a couple.
