The Volen Center has proudly served the elder population of Palm Beach County since its founding in 1968.  Seniors of all ages, races, religions, and socioeconomic status enjoy the benefits of the Center and its services every day.

The Center offers a myriad of programs designed to bring health, fun, laughter and companionship into the lives of our senior citizens – all based on a preventative concept designed to nurture the mind, body and the spirit and foster continued good health.

April 28, 2009 – Elizabeth Lugo, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Volen Center (formerly the Volen Senior Center), has received a Full Scholarship award to attend Harvard Business School’s July 2009 “Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management.”
